Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy

*Separate program and enrollment through Success on the Spectrum Douglasville

What is ABA Therapy?

A research-based, scientific approach focused on understanding and improving behaviors - such as social skills, communication, and learning - using positive reinforcement.

How will you merge Academics & ABA Therapy?

Traditionally ABA Therapy is 1:1 Direct Therapy with the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and client (your child). We will incorporate RBTs in the classroom to reduce maladaptive behaviors that may prevent learning.

Who Does it Serve?

Families and primarily individuals with autism or developmental delays. It involves personalized, data-driven treatment plans developed by a Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBAs) to increase independence and reduce harmful behaviors.

Individualized Therapy

Each student with an ASD diagnosis and RBT will have an individualized treatment plan that has goals for direct (1:1) therapy and group therapy (class and social skills). The RBTs will work these goals and target daily throughout the academic day.
